In February the MORPHEUS project partners took water samples from regional wastewater treatment plants to assess the emissions of pharmaceutical substances to the ambient water systems. The samples were taken at the outflow of selected WWTPs as well as upstream and downstream. The water will be analysed at Kristianstad University, the results of both summer and winter sampling will help to prioritize the most relevant WWTPs for an advanced wastewater treatment.
