From 17. – 20. September 2017 IWA Specialist Group on Assessment and Control of Hazardous Substances in Water (ACHSW) invites to the “Micropol & Ecohazard Conference”. The conference is organized by University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU) in cooperation with Technical University Vienna (TU).

The conference covers amongst others, the topics micropollutant sources, technical assessment and removal, and implications for water suppliers and wastewater plant operators. Workshops will focus on endocrine disruptors, antibiotics resistance and management options for operators. Technical tours on 21 September 2017 round up the program.

On September 17th , the IWA YWP Chapter Austria organizes a Young Water Professionals Day with presentations, workshops and round table discussions, specially dedicated to Young Water Professionals.
